ABOUT
Ambassadors Institute Programs serve the Southeast Michigan population to educate adults in a safe and supportive environment. Ambassadors Institute Programs exist to foster student learning through high-quality, career-oriented education. Ambassadors Institute Programs enable students to achieve their highest potential personally, spiritually, and professionally.
Our program is ALL INCLUSIVE, you only need to purchase a white pair of shoes. Your tuition covers everything else: uniforms, a warm-up jacket, a book, notebooks, pencils, a backpack, a nursing kit, CPR certification, and your first attempt at your State of Michigan certification. As of 2025, we have a 100% graduation rate and a 100% pass rate on the State of Michigan Certification.
Ambassadors Programs include Nursing assistants (NAs) and Patient Care Technicians (P.C.T.). The Programs are 80% theory courses and 20% skills lab and clinical practicum. The program is State-approved.
• Prerequisites are a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Updated Immunization record
• Valid Divers license or State Identification Card
• Registration is monthly.
• Course Schedule: N.A. is a 6-week program, and the P.C.T. is a 10-week program.
• Skill-Lab Practice during the week and clinical practicum is 16 hours.
• Small class size. A maximum of eight students per session.
Upon successful completion of these course programs, students will receive a certificate of completion. Students will be eligible to take the State of Michigan Nursing Aid Certification Exam. P.C.T. students will be eligible to take the National Certification Exam through the National Health Career Association (N.H.A.).
Program Cost: $2,886 for Nursing Assistants and $4,010 for Patient Care Technicians.
The program cost includes uniforms, warm-up jackets, textbooks, pens/pencils, a Nursing kit, a backpack, and background checks. Also included in the tuition is a computerized assessment test to prepare for the State exam and the State of Michigan Certification fee.
